| By train: Travel to Gossau or St.Gallen. From there the Appenzeller Bahn will take you to Jakobsbad. Only 5 minutes by foot and you are at our camping site. |

| By car: From Zürich/Winterthur: Highway A1 to exit Gossau. Go on to Herisau and direction Urnäsch/Schwägalp. At the train station Zürchersmühle you use the railway crossing and follow the road sign of the Kronbergbahn direction Jakobsbad/Gonten. Arrived in Jakobsbad you turn right at the big parking, cross the railroad, and you are at your goal! From Bregenz/St.Gallen: Highway A1 to exit St. Gallen Winkeln. Move along to Herisau and go on like above. (For travelers from Bregenz it's also possible to use the street via Altstätten - Stoss - Appenzell, especially for camper trailers we do NOT recommend to take this route, because of its narrow curves and steepness!) |
